Anyone that has ever rebuilt a vintage Powermatic model 66 saw knows that finding one with a motor cover is not that easy. My 1966 model 66 didn't come with one from the factory. If you have one of the gold or yellow model 66's you might have a broken plastic one. When the PM 2000 came out, I thought Powermatic did a nice job of improving the motor cover. I liked it so much that I bought one and made some brackets to attach it to my saw. I am very happy with the results. So much so that I thought if there is enough interest, I would look into having the brackets fabricated. Having one set done is very expensive. But if I can find a nice group interested. The price may make it worth it. I've attached pics of mine. Let me know if your interested in a new motor cover solution for your 66. Thanks, Tim
