This is listed on Craigslist, without a motor.

Does any one know the approximate age?

What kind of money would a motor cost and what kind of availability?

What if arbor is bad or other internals?

Where is the reasonable 'Good deal' point?

Go to http://www.owwm.org./ Those guys are the experts on older machinery. That looks to be a Delta Unisaw with a left tilt, just like the one I restored, only this one looks newer. I bought a used Rockwell motor from a guy in VT, can't remember his name right now, 1-1/2 HP for around $225 I think. As long as the internals are OK I wouldn't hesitate to pay around $300 for it as long as all the parts are there. Even if the bearings are sloppy and need to be replaced, as long as the arbor is not bent you'll be getting a good deal on a primo saw. But go talk to those guys on owwm. Good luck, and don't wait too long, or it'll be gone.

Isn't that a right tilt saw?
