Thought I would try something a little different - this is mesquite suspended on Fish Hook Cactus thorns and a little turquoise inlay to cover worm holes. ~2 1/2" tall. C & C welcome.

I really like that. Looks like an ancient artifact. Possibly from the middle east. Nice work

What if you turned the legs the other way around? Points in.

Diffidently different!

Frank, that is very, very creative!! Really a neat piece. I am totally unfamiliar with the Fish Hook Cactus, and I am pretty sure I don't want to get close enough to one to find out more!

I really like that. We have a barrel cactus that has thorns like that. Might have to steal your idea...

Those are some wicked looking thorns but they sure make great looking legs for that piece.

I may try that the next time around. I can't turn these around because they're glued in.

Thanks to everyone for your comments and thoughts.

Very creative use of natural materials! I never would have thought to do something like that, but it really works!

Those thorns are radical, holy cow, I thought those were rebar shape and sharpened on the ends. But anyway, nice touch to your project, looks nice.
