I bought some used saws from Walt (Brass City) and shipped them to Mark Harrell. What a job he did! It took a while, but they were worth the wait. The attached picture was the first cut I made with a 14" Jackson crosscut backsaw. It is the best crosscut I have ever made.
I also sent him a couple of #12's. I have never used a properly sharpened hand saw before. They felt pretty sharp in my hand before I shipped them, but I could not cut wood with them. Since getting them back I was able to saw 8/4 ash with no trouble (small cuts). I highly recommend him as a sharpener! I hope to own one of his saws one day too...
