I read the article the other day, I've always been a fan of milwaukee tools, but you know they are going to cost a fortune when they hit the shelves. My dad got one of the very first cordless milwuakees, its a 9.6 volt... yeah he's replaced and rebuilt the batteries a few times over the years, but he loves that drill. I even got him a 12 volt Makita one time, but he liked the milwaukee better, and gave me the Makita. Long story short, the batteries on the Makita are dead and gone and I was seriously considering a new milwaukee 14 volt until I read the reviews in wood magazine. The Dewalt sure looks nice.

Are we sure they are better? I'll reserve judgement until they are proven. Sometimes the bigger batteries don't last as long. For normal batteries, I thought this was a pretty good article: http://www.taunton.com/finehomebuilding/pages/h00106.asp
