I noticed in a flyer from Lee Valley, they now carry the aluminim Veritas straight edge in a 50". At Terry's BBQ you where talking about wanting something longer for setting the tables on that aircraft carrier of yours. Not a bad price for it either.

Sweet.

I emailed them a while ago and asked them to make a larger one for people with jointers.

However, a 6' would be real nice but this is darn close and frankly, it is probably good enough.
