Made a few rattles this am. I have been insoired by Roland's recent psot. Both are little of six inches in length. Max diameter just over 1-3/4". Made out of maple/mahogany and cherry/maple. Finished with min oil/beeswax. Maple and mahogany "ratlles" better than the cherry one. I think some of the pinto beans may have gotten glued together ( think I may put some waxlit on them next time). I am still not sure I am happy with the final look. Hard to get perfect symmetry. Thanks for any suggestions. Kieran180386180385180387

Look good to me. How many beans do you put in them?

About 5 pinto beans per side.

Both models look good to me! If the consumer doesn't like it - they will let you know!!!

Nicely done. They have a little bit of a contemporary feel that I like.

I think those are neat little turnings, and usable pieces, well done ;-))

Kieran,
Nice rattles. Popcorn works well in the rattles too.
