Does anyone use or know of a dust protection product that is as good or better than the Airshield Pro?

Acharya - I started out with the Trend Airshield and then up graded to the 3M Airstream - which I believe is a much better product. It is not cheap but in my opinion - worth it. Check it out: http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/3M-Airstream-Powered-Air-Purifying-Respirator-PAPR-System.html#

I also started with the Trend and have the Airstream AS 400. Like Steve said it isn't cheap but IMHO is a superior unit.

I have been using the 3M 6000 series full face respirator for years. It's super comfortable, has many different replaceable filter types from vapor, dust, vapor/dust, and has peel and stick protectors to keep shield visibility at its best. Not to mention it only runs about $125.

If I were you, find a local store that carries them and go check the fit. Boating stores like West Marine usually have them in stock.

I have this system and it seems to work great. http://www.turbineproducts.com/servlet/Detail?no=3

Have you used it hot weather? Temps is the summer here are in the 90's and above. What do you use for eye protection with the rig?
