My Dad and I took the drive out to Oshawa in response to a guy who listed some Lee Valley Bevel Edge Chisels on Kijiji. Aparently the stars were aligned since we came home with the following:

Lee Valley Bevel Edge Chisels: 3/8, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2
Record #4 Bench Plane (new in box)
King Japanese water stones 800x (new) and 8000x
EA Berg Socket chisels: 3/8, 1/2, 1 with box
Henry Taylor #5 3/8 straight gouge
Marples Sliding bevel
Sandvik Panel Saw
Porter Cable 5" random orbit sander & ~50 discs
Makita 1/4 sheet palm sander
Assorted Garnet and wet/dry sandpaper
Old B&D Router
Old Skil electric planer (long bed)
Freud 40t 7 1/4 saw blade
and a few other nicks and knacks

Pictures to come once I charge the digital camera.

As has been said in the past, "no pictures, didn't happen".

Congrats Ryan! We will have to take your word for this Gloat until the Pix appear!

I never regarded Kijiji as a viable bargain medium. Now I wonder...

Sorry, pics are forth coming, just gotta get the digital camera charged. Cost us $175 for the lot and the guy threw in a brand new nail apron, safety glasses, knee pads and four boxes of 16g air nails.

The real heartbreaker in this story though is the mint PAX small tenon saw that he had already sold for $25. I'm living in hope that the guy who bought it doesn't show up and we can buy it next week when we go back on Monday to pick up a pair of record vices and an oak roll-top writing desk.
