This has been posted on the instructables website, the guy has posted the PDF file with details of how it was done. Just shows what can be done with a decent sized laser bed. Just search for lasercut table.

Bet those tables sell like a bomb!

Yes - a big-bed laser would be nice.
I was just recently asked to quote for a pair of 7 ft high wrought-iron gates - made from cardboard.

I am one of those fortunate types... I get to run a large bed laser... And when it's time to have a little fun, its amazing what can be done!!179713!179712179714179715179711

That's pretty cool. I should post my picture of my desktop that I did on the laser. I took a big piece of plywood and made myself a larger top for my desk with grooves cut out to hold the cue cases that are always leaning against it. My laser is 120x80cm and we cut the piece in two jobs.

These could be done in layers and laminated with a nice veneer on the top piece. That would make them more stable.

I don't remember where I saw it but someone in Los Angeles was doing furniture using a lot of laser cut and engraved parts.
