Boo hoo--they don't make one for the PM 64A contractor saw. Anyone have a good aftermarket splitter for one of these saws?

I have the Shop Fox 1677 left tilt, which is the Griz with a fresh coat of paint! I recently picked up the Delta splitter that I believe goes on their Unisaw, and altho Delta's customer service swore there was no way they'd ever make one that fits a competitors saw, it bolted right on! Only takes loosening a knurled knob to remove it as well. After tax it set me back about $32!!! ;) If you're interested send me a PM and I'll look up the part number for you.

I checked the site and unfortunately they don't list the 78-431 for the left tilt Unisaw. Anyone know whether they carry it and whether it too is on sale?

Will the 78-431 work with all left tilt cabinet saws including Jet?

Check Biesemeyer's website -http://www.biesemeyer.com/safety/index.htm. They list the part numbers of their splitters and which TS's they fit.

Jim, that's awesome to hear the cheaper splitter fits the SF saw. I had no idea. I think I'm going to go order one!

John,

I'm not sure which splitter you are comparing, the cheaper splitter people are discussing is the splitter that comes with the Uniguard blade guard, and it is a good value. The splitter on sale is the Biesemeyer snap-in splitter, that runs about $120 at Amazon. I've had both, and for $78 the Biesemeyer is a good buy.
