Turned and finished this one this morning. It is a squirrel chatter call.
When I was finishing the call, it did not have any "fleck" in the grain, and I was really hoping it would. I did not want to have to find a way to tint/dye etc to achieve what I was after so I got to pondering what would work. In the end, a piece of newspaper with a section that had alot of black was used to rub in the "ink" from the section of paper. Then I was able to finish out the rest of the CA finish.
