Malcolm Tibbetts Book and DVD's

Well I am hooked :D I have the Malcolm Tibbetts Book that I've read3-4 times now I have his DVD 1,2,3 .My wife said she was tired of me watching them to go do some :eek:.
So I spent the day in the shop doind the first bowl out of a board have it down to the last 2 rings glued up waiting for them to dry so I can turn the last of the bowl. will post when done. And while that was drying why not start the next one on the DVD :D .So I have 5/16 strips of Maple and walnut glued up now all I have to do is the form on graft paper to get my ring sizes for my hollow form. I can see this is more of the vortex sucking sounds like a big vacuum:eek:

very cool, I've been contemplating trying it myself. I'm still too new to turning in my opinion, I'm not sure I'm ready for it. I also don't know if my wallet is ready for any additional investments it might take. Looking forward to seeing your first project!
