Very cool! I guess you don't have to live in one of the colonies for TOH to come by! Sandy is about 15 minutes from my house in SLC, I'll have to follow this.

They never mention things on their website until it's basically on the air. Usually local newpapers will have a story about TOH coming to town.

I read the linked article and, unless I missed something, it says that the Historic Sandy neighborhood was chosen as a This Old House neighborhood along with 49 neighborhoods in 49 other states. Maybe putting that together with what Rich Trethewey said does mean they will be doing a house there. They usually pick a house close to Boston to do for the majority of the season, then go south during the winter. Maybe the SLC area is warm enough to work in during the winter months?
