Hi All
Just tried my laser on a small coring, the laser worked perfectly "the operator didn't".I found out doing a small one, that the laser needs to be set on the wide left side of the blade so you can keep track of that edge that is the part that goes through the bottom not the point. So I think my next larger coring may be done a little easier and with a smoother cut

Hey, that's how I learn best... watch somebody (if possible) and give it a go! Turn and learn!

Nothing but a learning experience! It looks like it's gonna be a really good setup.

That's what it is about. Learning as we go. Looks like a great setup.

Yup - same rule applies when using a laser while hollowing!!!

I do consider the laser pointer to be an indicator, but not totally reliable. Main thing is to have it in the same place every time, then you know where it is. I keep mine centered on the tip.
