Sliding Table Attachment T10223 Instalation question.

I got a GO691 table saw and also purchase the sliding table attachment to go with it. It looked like it would work great and install easy. Maybe, maybe not. My question is that my front and rear rails on the saw are now too long since I removed the extension wing to attach the slider. What do I do with the rails? Do I need to cut them down to size? or Move them down and have a really long extension, this would also invlove more holes to drill, and the mitre track to noch out, as well as my measuring guide would be useless.

Any one else use this sliding table tat had the same issue??

i rebored the holes and moved the rails over although if you're pressed for space you can cut them. i had a delta sliding table that was very similar to the grizzly version.
