I am thinking about ordering a rabbit laser rl-80-1290. I wanted the 80 watt laser to engrave and cut but was told the 60 watt would do a better job engraving. Is this true?
Any advice will be helpful.

I'm not sure I would use a blanket statement like that, but it is generally true that the larger glass tubes do not have the same beam quality as the smaller ones (this is true for metal cartridges, as well, but to a significantly lesser extent). Depending upon what you're doing (and your luck of the draw from a quality control standpoint), you may never notice a difference. Just be aware of the possibility and you're ahead of the curve...
