My mom would like a ledge added above her kitchen cabinets (into the soffit that is there) to display her collection of smaller pewter platters. Anyone have any idea for profiles for this? It can't get too thick because the plates are eight to ten inches and I only have about twelve inches of soffit to play with.
Is there a relationship between depth of the ledge and the diameter of the platters so the larger ones don't fall off?
