Hey Creekers. One of the bowls I posted a few days ago was selected for AAW "turning of the week" today. I am honored!!

Wow! That is amazing Nathan. The grain patterns almost give it a three dimensional quality; the inside looks like it has facets. Well deserved recognition, and I'd say that is more than just a bowl of the week.

Thank you so much for the compliments everyone! I am truly honored, but I feel like I can't really take credit for how the piece turned out; all I did was take away the part that didn't look like a bowl. Mother Nature did all the really hard work!

So that's all there is to it? Man, I thought I was supposed to take away the good looking stuff and reassemble it. I've been going about it all wrong! Oh, were it just that simple.
