Well,

I saw the early this morning and hesitated. By the time I called, it was sold - BUT - he said that he also had a lathe that he wanted to sell. Now I have a Jet 1014VS for which I recently picked up a duplicating tool, and didn't necessarily need another lathe - BUT - when he said that he had a Jet JWL 1236 in excellent condition for $300, I had to go look. He was correct in his description and threw in the following set of lathe tools - like new!

That's a 1/2" bowl gouge on the right and a multi-tip scraper on the left. Here's the extra tips for the scraper.

I'll have this running in my basement shop tonight!

Nice gloat! Great bargain..........the tools alone are worth $300! Somebody here will say it, but not me........you _________? Really, congratulations! Too bad that drum sander was already taken........I have one, and it really does a good job!

Great gloat, as someone said you could sell the tools for $300. Sorby makes great stuff. Too bad about the drum sander.

Great find! I like the look of those tools. How about a photo of the lathe?
