If the prices for new swivel chair hardware are too pricey for your project, you might try a
second hand furniture or thrift store. Buy one from them for a few bucks and use the hardware
under it. Most old used office chairs especially wooden one's, have heavy duty hardware under them that can be used for lifetime!
