Definitely a different approach - a natural edge hollow form. I like it!

I really like this. The way the bark creates a "collar" effect elevates this very nice form to a level above and beyond the "typical" NE bowl.

I agree with David, the collar created by the bark is a neat touch! Very nice.

Welcome and thanks for sharing your work. The little squiggly defect on the back side of the form is great. I hope you'll continue to share you work.

Very cool piece, the angle of the picture makes it look egg shaped.

Nice work. Hollow forms have been my lesson in humility !! Keep the good work and many pics coming !

That's a neat idea. I can't say that I've seen a NE hollow form like that. Very nice!

Wow, what an interesting natural edge. It almost looks like it would bite if you got to close. Very, very nice!

And welcome aboard. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Jason, Welcome to the Creek and a very nice piece to start your postings with! I love cherry wood and I think it is one of the favorites of many turners for its colors, smell and general ease of getting a supply of it.

Great start and welcome again,

Jeff

Very nice bowl and a difficult shape to pull off and you have done it very well. Great job keeping the bark intact.
