couple new items. another Shifter Ball & first Bowl

Well, my first bowl our of figured maple, about 10" diam. A few imperfections, but learning. It had a bigger contoured lip on it, but I caught the gouge while hollowing it out and it flew from the chuck across the floor and broke a piece, so I took it off and made a groove on both side to hide a couple dings. Oops.

The shifter ball is Jobillo about 2.25" diam. I Just need to cut the excess off, put the threaded insert in and epoxy the coin in and polish.

Dave, nice save on the bowl! That is a difficult form with the transition area in the bottom corner. Neat work on the shift knob, too - hope it brings good luck to the vehicle!

Pretty good Dave! Nice rim treatment on the bowl, too bad about the damage..........nice save. Great job on that shifter knob! It is a beaut!
