Where is the best place to buy lifting sling straps (reasonable priced) for unloading tools with a cherry picker.
Something like the ones in this picture..

Thanks Richard

those things are incredibly helpful as long as you have a partner to assist and you don't even have to be that strong either.

Do you have a Grainger in your area? They have them and so does McMaster-Carr.

Check at an auto supply house -- like NAPA --or an RV supplier.

I needed a pair to assemble my new 8" jointer. The rental place had some for sale but they weren't long enough. They sent me to their supplier which is a regional welding supply house call Oxarc. They carry safety equipment.

Fastenal also carries these. I wouldn't trust my safety when overhead lifting to a cheap strap.

Well, I'll pass along what someone else reccomended to me. I needed to unload and move a 12" jointer that weighed well over a 1000 pounds. I priced the straps like you showed and it was going to be expensive. A trucker said go to a truckstop and pick up a couple heavy duty ratchet tie downs. I picked up a couple for 15 bucks that could handle anything I'd need to use it for.

The Harbor Freight ones are actually quite nice. They're not made cheaply at all. I've always figured that Harbor Freight, like everyone else, can't skimp too much on things that might end up as unsafe and into court with high dollar lawsuits.
