This might be obvious for many, but new for me (in Corel X4) so I thought I'd share...

Lets say you draw a rectangle and want it's dimensions as 12" wide - .150" = 11.850",
the .150" being clearance of some other part/object, you don't have to grab the calculator

You can literally enter in '12-.15' hit the TAB key and it will give the calculated value of 11.85".

Yup. You can also enter fractions (things like "11+9/32") when you're too lazy to grab the calculator. It also works over in the position boxes for cases where you need to move something a specific distance, not to mention the angle field when you need oddities like 1/7 of a circle.

You can also enter metric (or other) dimensions even though your workspace is set up for inches, points or some other format. Simply type 5 cm in the object size field and it will automatically change it to 1.969 inches if your default workspace is set up for inches.
