Do I want a free Delta "frame"?

On San Diego Craiglist, in the town where I work, is a free motor-less, tool-rest-less, accessory-less Delta Lathe.

Is it easy to get the other parts for cheaper than a used lathe?

If you have room to store it, you have time to look around. Eventually, some roadside aluminim miner will snag it for the scrap yard.

I am pretty much talking myself out of it as I sit here. I like woodworking and building wooden supports for tools, but not rebuilding machines.

I'll wait for another $150 used deal.
