heat/glue

I have a bunch of walnut veneer shorts. I was thinking of making kitchen utensils by stacking and pressing these in a form to make a spatula shape. Is there any glue that I could use that would take the heat from stirring in a hot pan? any suggestions? thanks

J-B WELD epoxy is advertized at high temperature epoxy, max constant temperature 500 F. It works on wood.
