:eek: Ok it wasn't a lot but it did slap me pretty good. I was finishing the sanding on this bowl and the "wing" got me. I made sure the bowl had no blood on it then put a band aid on and finished sanding. It is another Bradford pear. I think I have 3 more blanks left from the same 2 trees. It has a couple of cracks that ran all the way through the blank. I do like the shape of this one better than the one from yesterday. The bottom has a better shape. It measures 9 1/4" by 4 1/2". Finish is spray lacquer. Thanks for looking. Russell

Good man. Always check the wood first. Blood is so difficult to get out.

I sometimes tell people that the only rule in wood-turning is "Don't bleed on the wood"

Hope its the "last blood" too! Did it knock off any bark? Thin CA can repair both, not that I have any experience.;)

Russell, I'd think the CA can fix your cut better than the bandaid! Nice looking bowl btw.
