I recently acquired a New Delta 28-276 band saw (was a floor model being closed out at Lowes) and I am having a problem with the motor. The motor "bounces" when the saw is under load and sometimes even when it is running at idle. I am using the original v-belt and I plan to buy some "LinkBlet (PowerTwist Plus V-belts ) and see if that will quiet it down.
Have any of you had this problem and if so - how did you solve it? I like the band saw and this is the only problem that I have with it - but it is a doozie!
