Look what someone just picked up for $2000 on Ebay. It was listed in "fair" condition. Not sure what could be "fair" about it. Cosmetically, it looks nice, and I would imagine that it either runs true or it doesn't.

I would have posted a link to the auction, but I didn't know if that was allowed. I know it isn't for live auctions, but one that has ended already...?

Seems to me that even if it needs new bearings and some other stuff, if you have to spend $500 on parts (the cost of two bearings directly from PM...:D) then it is still a deal.

I'm guessing, with the second full bed extension, as pictured, it's probably about $4000 new.

The 50" extension is worth around $995. Yeah, if you had to drop a grand into to it, your still probably $1200 bucks ahead still.

I looked up on the freight estimator on Ebay for 1000lbs, and it quoted me $972.00 (completely unrelated to this post)... "You have to be kidding me!" is the closest thing that I can quote (without violating TOS) went through my head.

I watch the last few minutes of bidding. It was a 13 something with about 2 minutes to go, the 1500 and something $1833.85 ( odd bid) 4 or 5 bids over the last two minutes it ended at $2,000. Is the Baldor electronic control that was on it a standard item for the "A" model?

Mike,

You're allowed to post the auction number, just no live links (even to dead auctions).
