Anybody got a good source for cast iron extension wings? Looking to replace the stamped metal wings on my JET.

I don't have a source, but since your upgrading..... why not go with a cast iron router table wing?

I've been thinking about getting one, and most on the market look like good options

Grizzly will sell you a pair, no doubt cheaper than Powermatic, or Jet. Getting the mounting holes to line up would be the only big issue--besides color.

I have actually considered going with the router table wing, but just wanted to weigh my options before pulling the trigger. I've searched CL and Ebay for almost 2 months now and all I seem to find are the webbed wings. I'll definitely check with Grizzly. My JET is actually the old JET blue-green, so the color won't be that off! Thanks for the tip.

I bought a whole saw that had wings on it, they were the webbed type but it was better then the steel ones. It cost $50, the bearings were bad and the saw was not in very good condition. I had those on my Jet for awhile and then was given a set my a friend.

The webbed ones were not to bad after I fixed them so I would not pinch my fingers, someone here told me how to do it and it worked out well.

You can get them here but they are not cheap, $81 each.

There was a Free Stuff Drawing (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?95611-WINNER!!!!-Killer-FreeStuff-Steel-Table-Saw-Router-Extension-from-Quality-Grinding&highlight=cast+iron) a while back from Quality Grinding that did cast iron wings and cast iron router table inserts. You might chk them out. They looked really well made.
