I have a B & D "Shorty" right angle drill that is OLD. Bought it at a yard sale 'cause it was just too cool to pass up. This feller still runs, but I can't figure out how to open it up for a thorough lube and clean. It gets kinda warm after a few minutes, and the rpms vary. Don't want to kill myself using it.
Tried to contact B & D, but you can imagine the response I got. "A what?"
I have all the appropriate lable info including the patent number. Any thoughts?

There are a lot of folks over on OWWM who have & rehab old power hand tools. There are also quite a few old manuals/parts lists/dirty paper on them as well. Probably worth a peek. http://www.owwm.org/index.php?sid=bc2a48462048df6d7c82aed22968a633

Bill,
Send it to us at www.woodworkerstoolworks.com (http://www.woodworkerstoolworks.com).
We still have a few old timers here that can work on those old power tools.
We will give and estimate before we start.

Bobby.

Oh! I thought you meant you had to go to rehab for a power tool habit! I can only tell you that recidivism is at 100%.

Can you let us know what "OWWM" is?

Ken it's a forum for old tools. I think it stands for Old Wood Working) Machines (Machinery?). But looking at their site just now I see this: OWWM.com is now: VintageMachinery (dot) org You know what to do with the (dot). Jim.

I'm not going to rehab, because I refuse to admit I have a problem. YOU'RE THE ONES WITH THE PROBLEM. WHERE IS MY GRIZZLY CATALOG???
