Set-up my vacuum system several years ago when I turned on my old Delta lathe. Got the Powermatic several years ago and then seemed to be doing more flatwork. Started turning bowls again in the last month and finally got inspired to remount the system for my Powermatic. It is amazing how much nicer it is to go in the shop when things are organized! Also found somethings I forgot I even had.

This looks really nice. But could you please rotate the photos and repost them? I keep falling over when I try to look at them...

I am not sure how to do it once posted David. They were upright when I added the files. Maybe John can fix them. Thanks.

Have a Mod jump in there David...they can spin 'em around. Nice set up Kieran...I'm waiting about a month and getting the system from CSUSA...I have no mechanical ability whatsoever.

Neat rig. Keeps everything close when you are not close to a wall. Nice beams and posts. Second floor of a new barn. I'm a timberframe fan.:)

Thanks Steve. When we moved in 18 years ago, it was a single car garage. When we had it built, couldn't change the original footprint so the only option was to make it a two story shop. Actual construction is 2x4. Addition of beams was my wife's idea. Saved some money by doingthe trim, flooring and electrical myself. I designed it so that when we move, someone could use it as a home office. I don't think I could work in a shop without a lot of natural light. Take care and stay warm

Nice set up but the shop is star in these photos. Lots of natural light and especially the wooden floors must be a treat to work in.
