I'm trying to help out a friend with locating a Klixon thermal protection switch.

The switch (button) is located next to the On/Off switch on his Unisaw (Model 34-801)

I thought the part # was 19 H1C BET44DA-2 but I cannot find anything even close to that #.

Any ideas on how to track down something like this (Delta has been no help and Marathon's response was that they no longer manufacture the motor that is on the saw).

Are these switches proprietary or can a substitution be made?

Thanks!

Call Klixon. Per their website "Almost every precision product we’ve ever made is still commercially available. Contact us for details."

I'd think they'd be able to identify your specific part, or at the very least, given the motor rating plate info, determine the rating of the TPS so you can find an equivalent substitution.

Good luck!

These guys are the best source I have found for Klixon overloads! If you do not see your specific part number, email and ask for it. They Have it!

They are also the best for finding carbon brushes for just about any universal-type motor in existence.
