This is a segmented salt jar. Lot's of fun and my daughter in law loves it... that's the best part ! Hoot!

Sorry that I didn't get a picture of it with the lid on as it was whisked out of the shop toot sweet.

Who can blame her...it is outstanding!! If I may...I never add finish to the inside of a salt box...it delays the use of it and the corrosive nature of salt has a tenancy to deterioate the finishing meduim. Sanding with 400 gives a nice finish and the open pores of the wood help absorb moisture in the salt.

That's nice. I've been just using a small bowl for my kosher salt and may have to turn something with a lid. Thanks.

Really nice jar. No wonder she whisked it away. I agree with the no finish on the inside.
