This timber comes from there so called looks like cut sliced marbled Beef.

Smooth as finisher and top detail in the timber which varies in texture from where it grows in remote areas.

Again, very nice Peter. Love the education on Australian exotics! Maybe planning a trip over there next (our) winter to visit our daughter and family. Hopefully a chance for an international Creeker visit.

I've made a few pens from this stuff... It reminds me a lot of lacewood or leopardwood in appearance, but it's much harder as you would expect with an Aussie timber. Nicely done on the pen, Peter.

I was just getting ready to say it looked like Lacewood...
