Perhaps I should have poseted this on the turner's forum, but I lurk here most of the time.
I have a grinder already, but I would like to build one of those shafts that has multiple wheels (usually felt wheels with different profiles).
I figured I would go to McMaster Carr, get a shaft, a pulley a couple of bushings and go at it... but perhaps there is a better way, also I have not figured out how to actually attach the wheels to the shaft. Has anyone made (or purchased) something similar?
The extra motivation is that these wheels need to spin away (opposite of the grinder) and aproaching my grinder from the other side (back) is not very practical.
