Does it have a chain or fob so you can you clip the remote on to your apron?
TIA for any and all replies.

It has a heavy clip. I clip mine inside my shirt pocket.

I have 3 remotes, all with adhehsive-backed velcro. One on top surface of TS fence. One on jointer cabinet by power switch. One on top wheel cover of BS - which is 1-1/2 steps away from the planer. Got tired of playing "button-button-who's-got-the-button". Spare remotes aren't very expensive - forget exactly how much. CMS on its own small DC - or I'd have a fourth for it.

Same approach with primary tape measures - Lufkin orange cover 10' x 1/2", 6+ of them, scattered all around the shop, easy to spot. And disposable mechanical pencils. Buy a few doz at a time, and act like Johnny Appleseed with them.

"Lazy" is the word you're looking for. :D

Yup. Heavy enough clip that I can clip both of mine into (heavy canvas) tool belt pockets.

FWIW, I love my Long Rangers (1 on my 2HP DC; 1 on my JDS air filtration unit).

They just ... work.
