LONG tool rest??

I have watched several videos on youtube and it seems like several spindle turners use really long tools rests (even with two bases?) which allows them to work the whole length of the spindle without having to move the rest. I've looked at the aftermarket rests and it seems the longest I've seen is 12". Are people getting long rests custom made or is there some source I am not finding?

It looks like I am looking at "double tool rests" where a 2nd banjo is incorporated. Does anyone have a U.S. source for these long tool rests?

My longest tool rest to date was about a month while working on a table. I didn't move one of them an inch.
