Ok. On the previous thread about the maple and anchorseal, I realized 6 months to a year was a little long to wait to dry. So I bought some DNA today. Do I need to get that anchorseal off before I put them in the DNA? Any advice before I go dip them? David

David I would take the anchorseal off. If you don't I don't think the DNA will penatrate the wood.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the DNA dissolved anchorseal - but just the same - I would throw the bowl back on the lathe and taking some light cuts - get rid of the anchorseal first!
