Fantastic collection of pens. I really like the feather pens. I have been looking forward to trying my hand at a few of these, but everytime I try to find the blanks, they are sold out at Exotic Blanks.

Beautiful work Joe! Quite the variety! The feather pens sure add a different texture to the mix! Really like the curly walnut - very classy!

Very nice photography as well!

Most of the hardware components are from CSUSA. The fountain pen nibs are from HeritanceNibs.

Thank you. The hardware for that one is an Imperial which used to be carried by CSUSA, but has been discontinued. IIRC, there is a supplier in Australia that still carries it, but I'm not sure which one.

Very nice pens. The carbon fibers have always bee a favorite of mine as well as the feathers. I have a feather blanks but I'm trying to get some practice before I tackle turning it. I laid off turning pens for quite a while, just recently got a little practice again. I need some more practice.

Joe, as always, looking at your pics is like looking at fine art!! You do some really nice work, and choose the most unique blanks for your pens - it makes a difference!

Very nice looking pens. I especially like the feather and carbon fiber pens. One word of caution as I'm sure you already know is that when sanding or machining carbon fiber material to use a fine filtered resperator. Carbon fiber dust is probably more harmful to your health than any other dust particle you could come in contact with.

As always great looking pens Joe. I really like the Prickly Pear skeleton in colored resin rollerball. Is that a Jr Retro from CAUSA? thanks

Mike,

You shouldn't be sanding down to the CF... if you do, time to chunk the blank.
