This is a fascinating video provided by FWW. I had a little trouble with their link and finally figured out how to get to the video. Click on the link and scroll down to the video. It's 12 minutes long but well worth your time, espcecially if you use shellac.
It was amazing to me that the processes haven't changed much in almost 100 years.
