I'm looking for a small air grinder or cut-off tool, 2.5 scfm or less. The Klutch Air Micro Grinder goes for $70 but I don't want to spend that much.

I've had good success with 1/4" die grinders. Northern tool sells a lot of them; I'm partial to Ingersol Rand, but they have some IR units for about 50 bucks, and some Klutch brand models for about $25.00

HF has this for $25 as well:

Says 2 CFM air needed.

I don't know about the HF model, but average 1/4" die grinders are notorious for being air hogs. They can usually consume 10 - 15 cfm.

If you get a cheap one I'd buy it in person, and bring a 1/4" tool of some kind to make sure the collet is the right dia.
