I have a need for long soft jaw pins for my oneway flat jaws. I have found some at penn state but I wanted to know if the threads are the same. I checked 2 local stores yesterday and had no luck. Thanks for the help. Russell

I have a Nova G3 chuck, and the soft jaws fit. If you call PSI, they'll tell you if the threads match. I believe mine are M6 threads.

I have spoken to customer service and they don't know. I just wonder if anybody else makes a similar product?

If u don't get responses, then take one of your existing jaw screws to HD and find what size it is. If the threads are M6, it'll work.

You can also use rubber stoppers and longer screws from the local hardware store.

I made some, pretty easy.
- cut 2 inch long pieces (or as long as you want) from a 1 inch diameter dowel
- attach through the back of the plates with wood screws just small enough to go through threaded holes
- cover them with old bicycle inner tubes for grip or water pipe insulation for extra cushion, as needed
Sorry, no pics and posting too late tonight to get any :)
