I have a large piece of Pink Ivory I plan to turn. I has a lot of checking in it. I plan to fill the checks with another color that compliments the pink. Not sure what color yet. Maybe red or purple. Maybe even blue. What should I use for filler? What should I use for coloring? Thanks ahead of time for responses

I bounced this off the Mrs. (the one of us who can coordinate colors) She suggested Red for complimentary or Green for contrast. I thought maybe Silver would be interesting.

As to what to use... could you mix some coloring agent (food coloring?) into small amts of CA? Michael's Crafts sells glitters in single colors too. That's what I was picturing for silver. Fill the checks with glitter, and and thin CA.

I would also say a red or a green. I mix epoxy up with dye mixed in to color it to fill cracks especially if they are other than hairline cracks.
