SW Inspired HF

Here is my most recent finished piece. It is an ambrosia maple, South West pottery inspired form. It is 7 3/4" in diameter and 6 1/2" tall. The finish is: sanded to 400, walnut oil (3 applications), buffed with tripoli after drying for a few days and then hand buffed with micro crystaline wax.

These are the first shots from my new photo tent and background that Santa brought.

Dale, I like this piece!! Beautiful wood, and while some may not care for the curvature in the lower portion, I think it works with this form. And, you have indicated it is SW "inspired", and you have taken artistic license with it to please your need of expression - I like that!

I do, however, .......have lathe envy!!!!
