just an inane fact about today and this month

Today is 1/1/11, in this month we will also have 1/11/11. I can rest assured it wont happen again in my life time. I can remember where I was on these days all the way back to 5/5/55. 5th cup o joe makes an old man think of these things.:eek:

:DYeah John, I'll make it I think, to those dates. I was referring to two same # dates in one month. I did though not think about 11/1/11 and 11/11/11 which means 4 times in one year. I am sure I will not live to see it again.

You know, these turn of the century years are pretty cool. We're also going to have some dates like 9/10/11 this year. If you go back a thousand years, you could end up with dates like 9/10/1112. I'm pretty sure we'll never see anything like that again unless we scrap our calenders. Last year, we had 6/8/10, which makes a right triangle, and next year my birthday will be 12/12/12 :D And then it all goes to pot for another 100 years or so :(

There is a gentleman I know who was born on 2/22/22. In fact he is working at the local Lowe's! I don't know if he'll see another one but I sure hope he does. Nice guy. Yes, he's almost 89 and working mainly in the tool department.
