Spalted Maple Bowl

Here's another Bowl, its one of my newest turnings. 6 1/2 wide, 2 3/4 tall and a wall thickness of a 1/4". There is no finish I just sand it to 600.

Nice bowl - good looking wood! Are you going to leave the piece natural or finish it later? Just curious as I always finish mine to protect the wood and hopefully slow down the rate that it exchanges moisture.

Pretty wood and an unusual form. Must have been tough to undercut the rim.
