Guys Sorry! I forgot some people like details!

The wood is African Mahogany. I picked up 30 BF @ .99 per Ft. (All ends)
It measures 6-1/4 in diameter and 1-3/4 tall. Depth of the bowl is 1-1/4.
It would have been taller but it found the floor when I had it finished the 1st time. So I had to remount and turn out the defect. Needless to say I was pretty mad that I messed it up. Finish on this is Tung Oil. 6 layers. Hand applied and wiped. Next to no sanding on the finish.

I has started with 2 layers glued together but the layers were so different in grain that I parted off the top half and made another bowl out of that.

Nice bowl! No description telling what wood or what finish, or anything related........just a picture..........you need an edit of this post with more info!

Really nice bowl. What is the wood, finish, and dimensions of the bowl?

Nice looking bowl... I'm guessing cherry about 7 by 2.5 inches.

The hidden foot trick!! Nice bowl, with pretty color. Tell us more about it.

And, I can see Keller measuring his keyboard trying to guesstimate the dimensions!!

Well you did a good job of saving it but don't let it float off the table and get dinged again.:D
