What do you seasoned turners think of gum. I have turned one bowl so for and found it difficult. Not sure if it's my skill level or the wood itself. I was planning on bringing some with me to the EOP picnic if it's worth turning.

I tried some --- but it didn't work too good --- maybe it was the paper it was wrapped in.<IMG src="http://www.klsal.com/smiley2.gif">

that waxed paper would screw things up a bit. But the gum smells good after its opened up.
Maybe one of these days I will get one on you. lol

Can't turn it, can't sand it. Grain just won't lay down. Maybe Ken could work on some of it with a match and scorch it for you.:)
